A safe, sober living space with clear expectations, consistent routines, and a community of men who understand the journey.

House rules, curfews, and regular check-ins ensure every resident stays focused on their recovery and their goals.

No one recovers alone. Our residents support each other through shared experience, mutual respect, and collective commitment to sobriety.

Access to behavioral health guidance, referrals to employment resources, and connections to local recovery support services.

Our Standards

Every resident agrees to the following upon intake.

Zero tolerance for alcohol or drug use on premises.

Completion of assigned household responsibilities.

Mandatory participation in recovery programs or meetings.

Adherence to curfew and house schedule.

Respect for all residents, staff, and property.

Active pursuit of employment, education, or treatment goals.

Full house rules are provided during the intake process.

Our Commitment to Standards

A New Day 1 Recovery Homes is committed to meeting and maintaining the highest standards of recovery housing. We are actively pursuing certification through the Colorado Alliance for Recovery Residences (CARR) in alignment with the National Alliance for Recovery Residences (NARR) standards.

Our commitment to certification reflects our dedication to providing safe, ethical, and effective recovery housing for the men in our care.

William "Bill" Taylor III

CEO and Behavioral Health Specialist

Bill Taylor is a passionate community servant whose life has been defined by perseverance, growth, and an unwavering commitment to others. Born in Washington, D.C. in the late 1980s and raised in Colorado Springs in the early 2000s, he has experienced life from many angles and understands firsthand the challenges that can shape a person's path. 

Having overcome adversity, setbacks, and the need to reinvent himself more times than most, Bill turned his lived experience into a mission of hope. He founded A New Day 1 Recovery Homes to strengthen the rapidly growing ecosystem of support in Southeast Colorado Springs and to remind people that their past does not have to determine their future. 

His work is rooted in one powerful belief: it is never too late to start over. Through compassion, accountability, and service, Bill is committed to helping others discover that every day offers a new opportunity for restoration, healing, and forward movement.

Brianna "Bri" Brown

Lead Behaviorial Assistant

Dedicated, faith-driven, and energetic, Bri is a Case Manager and Peer Recovery Coach with a strong passion for helping individuals reclaim their independence and build meaningful, purpose-driven lives. She leads with both compassion and conviction in everything she does. 

With a background in Occupational Therapy, Bri brings a well-rounded, practical approach to client care, focusing not only on recovery but on long-term stability, growth, and self-sufficiency. She is deeply committed to meeting clients where they are while challenging them to rise to their full potential. 

At A New Day 1, Bri takes pride in walking alongside individuals on their journey of transformation. She is known for her ability to connect, motivate, and empower those she serves, helping them break barriers and create a new path forward. 

Above all, Bri is a proud mother of two sons, which fuels her purpose and strengthens her drive to make a lasting impact, not only in her family's life, but in every life she touches.
